Meet the artist

Hi! I am Pearl Sakaske contemporary artist based in north Idaho. A large amount of my work is surrealist horror - and if I’m in a good mood - animals.

My art (usually) focuses on horror and macabre ideas.

Imagery in my work is heavily influenced by my mental illness, specifically my Schizoaffective disorder. Hallucinations and intrusive thoughts plagued me for a decade, now I am finally ready to put them on paper.

I hope that my paintings are hauntingly evoking!
